Who Can Apply?

Experienced PhD holders who wish to contribute to China's high-tech industries.

Applicants do not need Chinese language skills or Chinese residency.

What to Expect?
Once selected, you will be matched with an organization suited to your expertise and career aspirations. Successful applicants are offered a high-level position with a 2-year buffer period before deciding whether to relocate to China.
A national-level programme targeting overseas individuals with highly competitive technology and research backgrounds, which provides support and rewards.

A direct lump sum reward of RMB 4 million will be granted upon selection

3 to 5 million RMB of additional research grants to experts conducting scientific basic research.

Professorship or an equivalent title in a prestigious foreign university or research institute; or senior technology or management position in a renowned international enterprise or financial institution.

The awardees will be granted preferential policies in terms of entry-exit immigration (including for their families), residence, medical insurance, housing, tax and salary.
Basic Candidate Eligibility:

Graduated with a PhD from a top QS 100 ranked university, with over 36 months of continuous work experience (including post-doctoral research).

Intentions to work with a Chinese university or enterprise.

Exceptions: Age, academic, and professional qualification requirements may be waived for exceptionally talented individuals or in cases of outstanding performance.

Complete the required application documents before the deadline
Local units at the municipal and provincial levels will review and evaluate your application.
A Review Committee will finalize and announce the list of recommended candidates.
After selection, a one-on-one meeting will be arranged between you and the matched organization.
Upon acceptance, you will be appointed to the position.
You will have a 2-year buffer period to decide on the offer.
